Create the look you’ve always dreamed of…
With a recent refurbishment under their belts and dozens of new furniture ranges in store, there’s lots to discover at Cosy Carpets and Home Furnishing, Thetford.
After a long day, there’s nothing better than closing the door on the world and relaxing in the comfort of your own home – whether that’s enjoying dinner with the family, sinking into the sofa with a glass of wine, or cosying up in bed with a good book. And having a home that reflects your personality and style is so important when it comes to having somewhere you can truly unwind and be yourself. Cosy Carpets and Home Furnishing in Thetford has been in business for 23 years.
Owned by Ricky and Paul Baker, the company has a range of more than 10,000 carpets as well as flooring including vinyl, wood, laminate, sisal and seagrass, to name just a few. But it’s not just flooring you’ll find inside as the store is also home to a selection of dining furniture, sofas, chairs, rugs, beds, mattresses and home accessories too. And with a recent refurbishment under their belts, as well as hundreds of new product ranges to choose from, there’s even more to discover in store. Consultant manager Steve O’Donoghue brings with him 42 years’ worth of experience in the furniture business and has been orchestrating the changes. “Steve has a great eye for style and products,” says Ricky. “He’s brought a breath of fresh air to the business.”
Inside, customers will find fashionable brands covering contemporary to classical designs, a mirror gallery and an assortment of lifestyle displays making it easy to browse and envisage colours and themes. And dozens of new brands have been introduced too including Alstons Barcelona, Furnico Townley, Mark Webster Padstow, Serene Chair Gallery and beds and headboards by Relyon.
The ranges will also be updated regularly to ensure that everything is on trend. Outside, customers will find new logos, signs, flags and a new fleet of vehicles, all helping to complete the look of the home furnishing superstore. “We’ve always been big on carpets but now we’ll be well known for soft furnishings as well. Steve is very experienced,” says Ricky. If you’re thinking of changing your interiors or perhaps you’re just looking for some inspiration, you can browse in store and if you need any assistance, there will always be a friendly member of staff nearby.
Cosy Carpets has a team of six fitters who each have more than 25 years’ experience. By offering a complete measuring and fitting service, the details are taken care of. “We’ve got a really good team – they’re all really good people. It’s a family business and it feels like a family business when you walk through the door.” The new changes will be in place by Friday, September 16, 2016 when Cosy Carpets and Home Furnishing will be holding a launch day. Both customers old and new are invited to come and see the new changes and celebrate with the staff who are keen to say thank you to the local community for supporting them over the past 23 years.
There will also be lots of deals on so the perfect opportunity to snap up some bargains as well as be entered into a prize drawer to win a dining set. And the refurbishments don’t stop there: Ricky and Paul are planning on extending the store in the near future so that they can display even more products and also house a coffee shop. Customers will be able to come and take their time, browse and mull over ideas for their home while enjoying a cream tea and thick slice of cake. “By expanding we’re investing in Thetford’s future,” says Ricky. “There’s a big range of beds and we’ve got 25 new sofas on display. “We’re honest, reliable, we give good service and there’s a great range. We’re open seven days a week and there’s lots of free parking. “We’re a family business you can trust. We’re always looking after people and treat them how we would want to be treated.”
